-Buying 12th row center tickets right from the box office about 30 minutes before the show
-Being there with my mom
-Phil Lesh sitting about 12 seats to my left
-Yelling "TVA" and Jason saying "OK" and playing it instead of whatever he was going to play.
-Ryan playing great songs for two hours and being weird and hilarious.
-Jason playing the three-song encore, one of which was "Danko/Manuel"

I'm elated to hear Ryan Adams & Jason playing together - that's really a dream combo, in my book. Jason always seems to connect with those he tours with, be it Ryan, Justin Townes Earle, Will Hoge, Sons of Bill, American Aquarium etc... he's a musician's musician.

Saw the show last night in Napa and it was a real special night. Jason opened up the night solo, giving us some beautiful acoustic versions from his catalog. He even covered Todd Snider's Play a Train Song. Ryan's set was outstanding. The encore brought both Jason and Ryan back onstage for a few more and an awesome cover of Alabama's Love In The First Degree.

I haven't seen any myself but the ones that have shown up so far seem to have been shot from a distance. Probably because Ryan has a no taping (audio or video) policy in effect these days. Funny thing is, he posted the clip of him and Jason doing "Love In the First Degree" on his FB page.

He sure does love Jason! He wrote him a song, heavy metal (on acoustic guitar) style. It went like this:

All around a really good, fun show, with some great quotes and a great setlist. Jason sounded terrific and they were beautiful singing together. Ryan is in fine voice and is still insane.
