I heard a rumor that he just quit. He is an incredible talent and I wouldn't be surprised if he was picked up to be a guitarist with a band that has more money.
I saw Jason last week with Browan and the show was different. I was actually glad to see something different instead of seeing Psycho Killer every single show.

Then maybe Browan can start a band featuring someone far too talented to be second/third banana. I'm noticing a pattern with this particular branch of the DBT tree. It's a self-propagating talent machine.
It looks like Browan will be playing tonight in Madison, AL:
"John Blumer @ Stem and Stein in Madison tonight from 7 - 10 with the unparalleled six-string-sleight-of-hand of Will McFarlane and Browan Lollar. Let's just say I'm a little excited!!! ; )"

Sorry to hear of this split for sure - what great talent....
Had the opportunity to meet him when Jason put the 400 Unit together and they first hit the road...Athens-Atlanta-Raleigh - that fucker can play...did a fantastic job of doing the Patterson/Cooley/Neff solos when Jason would sing his songs while with the Truckers.....
Hopefully we'll all get the chance to see Browan shred in the near future...Good luck Browan! Rock on....
Sorry to hear he will be gone. I loved his acoustic sets with Jason.
Super nice guy. I saw the whole band in June so that must have been one of his last shows with the 400 Unit. He came out after the show and talked, and he took a poem from my daughter back to Jason and the band, then was the first to sign a poster for her.
Please keep us posted on developments and any album release forthcoming.
