Outstanding show. Boys from Alabama was fantastic. That song and Every Single Storied Flameout with trumpet and sax were high points.
I think this was my first time to see The Deeper In. Margot and Harold was a nice surprise.
Matt really killed it on KKK, and his playing on Shake and Pine really stood out too. I hadn’t noticed how nice that bass line is on that song until tonight.
From set list to performance to having a great view, this was one of the best one-off shows I’ve seen.

God damn. That’s a show.
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

Sometimes I worry about shows at odd locations (y’know, like an outdoor venue connected to a Harley dealership in the town I lived in during college), but last night blew me away. Brought a couple first timers with me and one of them had the time of his life.
Also, with the exceptions of the Dexateens and Jerry Joseph, Wednesday might be my favorite DBT opener in years. They rocked.

My 3 or 4 favorite DBT shows ever got started with great openers. Glossary, Those Darlins, and the Bobby Keys Band come to mind.Sterling Bigmouth wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 12:01 pmSometimes I worry about shows at odd locations (y’know, like an outdoor venue connected to a Harley dealership in the town I lived in during college), but last night blew me away. I met a dude before the show up by the stage who said it was his first time. I caught up with him after the show and he sounded completely won over.Sterling Bigmouth wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 12:01 pmBrought a couple first timers with me and one of them had the time of his life.
I listened to a few songs on Spotify last week and it didn't grab me, so I turned it off in hopes that I'd like them better live. And I did. Wednesday put on a monster show. I checked out their bandcamp page today and see that they did a cover of Women Without Whiskey. I dig it.Sterling Bigmouth wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 12:01 pmWednesday might be my favorite DBT opener in years.
Now playing the album I just bought:

Holy smokes. That's a great looking set list and seeing in person last Sunday how well the band is playing right now, I know this was a knock out.
Really hoping they announce a Fall/Winter tour and will hit multiple nights in select cities. First time in a few years I'm pining for more and willing to travel to get it.
