I downloaded this show from the archive tonight to hear the new songs.

Fantastic show and good recording that has me looking forward to Athens. I don't think I've ever seen Santa Fe live and I notice Hood has been playing it on recent setlists, so I'm hoping we'll get it at HC. Matt fucking rocked KKK---that may be the best version I've heard of that song.

I'll be interested to hear how The Driver sounds on the record---I loved it live. Loved Cooley's new song---need a revisit to catch all the words. The new record sounds promising.

I'm torn (in a good way) on Plastic Flowers. I dig the rework that Patterson did during the quarantine shows, and they rocked the reworked version with the full band this show, but that electric guitar in the original version is just so damn good. On original Plastic Flowers and on Patterson's solo at the end of English Oceans on stage, they both remind me a bit of Zuma---like an extension of the sound from Zuma. But I'd be cool with seeing either version of Plastic Flowers at every DBT show I see from here on out.
Let the outside air in
