Jeopardy clue

Post by Beaverdam »

I’ve seen no mention on here/3DD of the recent DBT Jeopardy clue. Grandpa/Bryan/Beaverdamsfinlaw sent me a picture of what appeared to be his tv screen with the clue. I think the episode aired earlier this week.

While DBT is close to our hearts, I think I speak for most of us when I say I would have never in any alternate universe imagined a DBT Jeopardy clue!

Honestly I was stumped for a second had had to peruse my mental roaldex to think of “what are thoughts and prayers?” I also never would have thought if Jeopardy did have a DBT related clue, I’d have to consider the answer for more than ten seconds.

Come on synapses, keep firing, you’ll never beat Ken Jennings at this rate!

Yeah, I intended to post about this this am but didn't quite get around to it. I have been "celebrating" (bragging about?) DBT's ascension to the pop culture mainstream w/ messages to my non-DBT friends, though.

As for the ten seconds you're on your own there. But I do wonder if Ken Jennings would have gotten the answer (or the question if you want to be picky about it).

I saw Isbell in ATL on Friday night and he mentioned it, although he said it more in terms of the clue being something more about what the DBTs were.

This is fantastic! I need more details. What was the category? Did anyone answer and/or answer correctly?

I haven't caught Jeopardy in the past few weeks so I missed it but am thankful that you took time to mention it.

The category was protest music. I, too, am wondering whether any of the contestants got it.

I believe the first contestant to answer got it right.
