Baltimore 8/27

Old school show thread. I was there when DBT first played Rams Head Live (2014?) and I'll be there again next week. Can't wait. Hoping for a Mr. Boh sighting. Who's in?

Then this must be the third time bc I'm pretty sure I was there when it was warm out, I'm thinking it was in June, and I have no recollection of seeing the Old 97s there. Nothing against Rams Head but I kinda wish they were back at the Recher (RIP).

DBT first played Rams Head Live on 10/28/07. This upcoming show is their 4th at the venue.
I am leaning toward attending this show. I just need to buy a ticket.

Hey! I saw them at Ram's Head on 10/28/07!

Mr and Mrs. Bond (from Richmond) were with their daughter, Raychel. She was 8 at the time.. Married with a kid now.
Maluca (Jamie) was there as well. Raychel grabbed my hand and dragged me into soundcheck with her and the folks.
Security was about to bounce me, but Patterson and Mattador had my back. Thank you, boys. That was DBT show # 28
It seems like a lifetime ago. Living Bubba to open, Spooner on "I'm Your Puppet"
I will be enjoying the seafood tower at Thames Street Oyster House this Friday before the show. See y'all there!

Sure hope it's simular to the version Patterson did earlier this year on his solo tour.
I really loved it!
and that pussy Alec Baldwin blew that girl away, and speaking of pussy Steve got it all!

Fun show.
Band seemed in really good spirits (as did the crowd).
The show smoked up through Shit Shots, then picked up again with Ramon and smoked until the end.
The couplet of Pin Hits The Shell and Do It Yourself was nice as well.

I had such a great time at this show. I thought the band was a bit rusty (messing up on some vocals) which was to be expected after the long lay off. Love how they came with their A game from the opening song and never really let up. We were all trying to guess what song would open, nobody called Filthy & Fried and it turned out to be perfect. The new revved up semi-acoustic Plastic Flowers was the highlight of the night for me, got to love how Patterson is constantly adding new songs and rearranging old ones. As much fun as the show was, the pregame was just as good. Many heathens were in attendance and it was so much fun to see everyone again after 18 months without shows, also great to finally meet a few folks in person who I've been friends with for years here on 3dd and on FB. Was weird to not see Dirty Paul and Cole hustling around the venue - they were missed. Fyi the checking of vaxx cards seemed to go very smoothly and pretty much everyone was masked except when drinking.
