Anybody go to Shoalsfest last year? Mainly curious if they have multiple stages or if it's just one.

Awesome, nice find! I just grabbed a pair of tickets in the presale, too. Not 100% sure I can make both days, but no way I'm missing that Sunday.

I’m a bit confused by the apparent lack of excitement over this. What am I missing?

In other news: water is wet, 2 + 2 = 4, and Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.
Now it's dark.

I'd bet money on it being one stage this time. No local acts on the bill.

Then I'll take a moment to thank those who still post here. I don't have a Facebook account and don't plan to ever get one. I did lurk some on one of the the public DBT pages on Facebook the last year or so, but that was recently set to private which locked me out.

I'm not fond of festivals, but with DBT, Slobberbone and Centro-Matic on the bill, I'm in --tickets bought and hotel booked. I got into Slobberbone and Centro-Matic too late and never saw either live and figured I'd never get the chance.

One day tickets are on sale now. I wish I would have known that was a possibility when I bought a 2 day and can only go Sunday.

I’ll likely try to swing Sunday. Would be a wild run between the Braves/Mets on Saturday, ShoalsFest on Sunday, and DBT in Nashville on Monday.

Random thoughts...

I was there and it was pretty great. Although I did leave before Patterson and Cooley joined Jason during his set.
David Hood also came out and played bass on Everybody Needs love.
The crowd was pretty amped up but you could hear a pin drop during Angels and Fuselage, which was the closer. It was quite a moment.
Patterson also came out during the Slobberbone set and sang on Gimme Back My Dog.
DBT, Slobberbone and Lucinda Williams were my personal highlights. Lucinda's set was incredible and I thought the crowd was extra attentive and engaged.
The weather ended up being great and the place was pretty packed. I'm sure this will turn into an annual thing.

Here's one of Isbell doing an extended version of "Never Gonna Change" along with Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well."

It was an incredible weekend. Lucinda’s set was the highlight of Saturday as it was a gutty performance after suffering a stroke last year. Amanda put on a solid set, as always, and I found myself enjoying Jason’s set more than I thought I would.

As much as I Love Slobberbone, and they were terrific, Centro-Matic was transcendent with Jason playing guitar the whole show. Seven years is too long to go without a CM show. DBT brought it as always, and hearing The Day John Henry Died was sublime. Jason’s set was primarily the same as Saturday. Still, the non-repeats, including Elephant (by far my favorite of his solo work) and the previously mentioned Never Gonna Change, Oh Well, and of course Outfit and Decoration Day with the fellas was pure bliss. Combine it all with seeing great friends, and it was a perfect weekend.

Jay getting to close out the Angels and Fuselage walk off was pretty cool, and he nailed it.
