They were on their way west. I'm still holding tickets for Petaluma and San Francisco.
The Mystic and the Fillmore would be great places to start.

Hopefully wherever it is it will be a 2 or 3 nite stand over a weekend. I have a feeling a lot of people will want to travel to those shows and that scenario is best. As to where, Chicago is convenient for most people who will travel but I don't think it much matters as long as there's an airport nearby.

Chicago works for me! The only US show currently listed on the web site is for late June in Chicago, an outdoor, small festival show in Evanston. As much as I want it to go, I don't see that happening.

Theyy really need to start with The Orange Peel shows in Asheville that have now been cancelled twice. No, I'm not saying that because I'm moving to the Asheville area. :D

Going by the UK government's latest announcements (well, their guesses...) there looks to be a good chance that the shows DBT have scheduled for the UK in late May/June are going to be amongst the first in the UK after live indoor shows are allowed once again.

So, for me it'll hopefully be Leeds on the 29th, followed by London. May even try and fit in Glasgow. And I imagine they're going to go off like a bomb.

Doubt the band is going anywhere until everyone is vaccinated

I kind of wish they would ditch the scheduled shows & start over to allow for refunds. AXS is promoting the show in Seattle & a refund has never been an available option. I doubt that AXS is going to be paying interest on the money they are hanging on to while in my eyes committing breach of contract. This isn't aimed at the band & they are far from the only ones. The situation with LiveNation is even uglier. I wonder what is going to happen to sold out or near sold out shows if venues are allowed to open only at reduced capacity. Things are going to get ugly that way & for smaller bands playing at say 25-50% capacity isn't going to work on an economic basis. I think we are going to be looking at way more expensive tickets regardless as the corporations try to make up for lost revenue. A lot of things in the entertainment/sports are going to become even more elitist than they already were. Anybody looked at NFL ticket prices recently? It's frightening.

But this is plausible.

Admittedly not necessarily likely. But it's plausible. The vaccine rollout everywhere appears to be miraculous.

And until those dates are actually cancelled, I'm allowing myself to dream.

(Edit: By plausible, I mean in the sense that it will it get to a stage where indoor events can be planned. We may all get to that situation quicker than anyone expects.

Because what seems to be happening is that as vaccines are distributed, it becomes increasingly more efficient as people get used to it and identify what's needed
It's going to speed up everywhere. 100% vaccination is unlikely, of course.)

In this scenario we will never get another show

Hopefully not as that is an awful venue. If it is in Austin, rather see it at ACL or the Scoot Inn.

I am guessing the West Coast and could see them starting in Portland going to San Francisco.

Or the 40 Watt.

I figured you were talking about the band & crew, who are not high on the pecking order for vaccines.

Well my brain conjured a mental image of Dr. John standing in the doorway of the 40 Watt with a box of syringes injecting each of us as entered!!!!

“Next!!!”

Exactly LBRod! - Crud resistant !
Some halls are starting to have gigs, so I see The Truckers playing the new Roxy in Atlanta ( freckin Cobb County) then doing a string of outdoor gigs in the Southeast at Speedways and drive ins - hopefully with one or two powerhouse rock n roll bands like the beloved Dexateens, Lucero, Southern Culture On The Skids, you get the drift, or even support a band like Blackberry Smoke for cryin out loud.

The crud, or the "preservatives" we consume?
