A quick browse of the website doesn’t show the package deal like last time. Anyone know if this exists?

Cooley is listed to play two hours. I wonder if he actually will? I’d be satisfied with 90 mins but 2 hours would be tight.

Cooley may take this opportunity to unveil all the unreleased songs he's been storing up since 1996.

Maybe.

Personally I can watch him do his fingerpicking for two hours. Or telling fart jokes.

I'd be completely cool with 90 minutes. And I'd love to see the solo acoustic versions of his Unraveling songs at some point in these shows.

Just saw the time on my computer: 24 hours from now, we'll have Cooley from the closet.

Why don't we talk more about "she's found her self and I've lost mine"? What a great line!!! One of many of course, even just in "Sounds Better" but still...

Best version of "Shit Shots" ever? I dunno, but it's pretty damn awesome. And just a man and his acoustic guitar, too.

Yet another reason he's Mike Cooley and you're not: He reads out a list of birthday wishes and then doesn't play either Lisa's Birthday or Birthday Boy :)

Dazzling set, completely over the top dazzling. "Filthy and Fried" followed by "Primer Coat" w/ guitar & harp.

Cooley's boxing dream. I can't even. Hysterical. Picturing Cooley in those boxing shorts w/ the wide waist and a silk hooded robe.

This was one of those shows you get every now and then that stands out from all the other great shows. DBT has been great every time I've seen them. Cooley has been great every solo show I've seen him. But there are always those few here and there just had that something extra. Cooley was there tonight.

Loved the arrangement of English Oceans and Filthy and Fried. Primer Coat with harmonica was just killer. Kickass version of Shut Up and Get on the Plane followed by Space City to close it. Just one fantastic show start to finish.

Brownie needs to go on the road for Cooley's solo shows.

And that great line gets even better when you put it with the next: "and I'm just another guy who can't give her anything"

The line that really gets me in that song is:

Outgrowing me might be the best thing for her she's ever done.

That one just rips your heart out.

After hearing some alternate arrangements of some of the songs tonight, I'd like to see Cooley put out a solo album, even just a download album, with alternate takes of some of his songs. Just one guy and a guitar and a harmonica and a stuffed horse.

I may like the versions he did tonight of Primer Coat, Filthy and Fried, and English Oceans better than the album versions. Maybe I just liked hearing the fresh takes on all of them, but they were really fantastic and they were different. And Shut Up and Get on the Plane was so nice ---his hand was just a blur on the camera there toward the end. And the arrangement he did on Ramon Casiano last show was really good. And can you imagine Trying to Be the Boss on acoustic??? I can't, but you just know it would kick ass.

I'm pretty sure anybody reading this post would pay $10-$15 for a 10-12 song album with new takes.
