St. Paul 3/14
One week away! Any Heathens going to be at this Pi Day show? The Palace Theatre is going to be a killer venue for a Rock Show.
I plan on pre-gaming close to the venue for the majority of the day.

I'm going with my wife, a buddy and his girlfriend. Might be meeting up some with Heathens before-hand as well.
It's my niece's first birthday party and my brother lives about 3 miles from the Palace, so I won't be getting too rowdy before hand, but there will definitely be some pre-gaming.

I am in for this show. My friend Chuck will also attend. Some of you may have met him at First Avenue. We've seen DBT there twice in the past.

What time do you think you’ll be in town, Bill?
We should definitely do a Heathens get together/pre game for this rock show.
Re: St. Paul 3/14
Definitely game. I've never been to a show at the venue, and it looks like it's a few blocks from the closest bar. I'm meeting up with my buddy to get tickets, so I'll see what he suggests.Zip Up to Michigan wrote:Bad ass! My flight arrives at MSP at 10:28 am. I will likely stay at a motel near the airport since I have an early flight home on Sunday and don't want to ask Chuck to drive me there at such an ungodly hour. I would definitely be up for a lunch gathering somewhere in the area. I will invite Chuck as well.Zip Up to Michigan wrote:Bad ass! Chuck recommends Barrel Theory for beer in St. Paul. It’s walking distance from the Palace. Not sure if they have food there.

Re: St. Paul 3/14
Barrel Theory is some of the best beer in the Twin Cities. No food though.
When we saw Todd Snider at Fitzgerald last year (very close to Palace), we had some bar food at Alary's. Downtown St Paul doesn't have quite the food scene as its neighbor to the west. Also, for whatever reason, the best food in the Twin Cities often seems to be neighborhood joints.

Awesome. My Saturday night, after a day of replacing some flooring, parked on my couch, just got a whole lot better!Bill in CT wrote:There will be a live video stream of this show. More info is at the link below.

A whole mountain of bullshit coalesced, and I'm not going to be able to make this now. Fucking sucks especially with GW and World Wide Bill in attendance.
Looking at the Midwest run this summer. Bayfield, WI is the farthest away from me of the 3 shows, but it's on a Saturday. That, I can dig.
