Last ROCK SHOW of The Decade

Post by LagoonField »

Patterson reminded us that tonight in Oklahoma City is the last ROCK SHOW of the Decade, of what we can venture to call "The Teens". So I pose the question to the 3DD Heathen genius: what was the first ROCK SHOW setlist of the Decade (2010) including venue, band members, and Heathens in the audience?.....(full disclosure, I have no clue).

Anybody got the set list? Someone named Cody Coleman posted some good video.
Jan 2010 was our second HC. Thinking back now, it would have been the perfect HC for Zip City to attend. The band has spent the last 9 years making up for it.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

Great to meet you, B, always too brief when a bunch of worlds collide like this weekend. See ya down the road hopefully sooner than later

I count five common songs between the first (Feb 2010) and last (Nov 2019) set list of the DBT Teens:

Living Bubba
Sink Hole
Let There Be Rock
Carl Perkins Cadillac
Women Without Whiskey

All well deserving to be played again ~10 years later. Based on the recent set lists in Texas and Oklahoma, there could have been a few others in common.

I hope we ( "we"... including DBT) are all still around in late 2029 to make the same post about the January 2020 setlist in Colorado versus the last set list of 2029.

In 2029. Patterson will be 65 and Mike will be in his early 60's. So lets hope they still need some extra funds to supplement the lucrative DBT Heathen 401K Plan and Social Security and are still traveling around playing a few Rock Shows! If not, it will be a well deserved retirement, and we can all still listen to the vintage DBT vinyl with our hearing aids.....

Taking a 2nd look at the setlists from Texas and OKC this past weekend, looks like total overlap of songs from 2010 to 2019 (first and last) setlists could've been in the range of 10 to 14 songs......
