I’m just now starting to feel that Homecoming is really going to happen for us. If it was tomorrow not so much but in 72 days? I’m getting excited. Will be my 12th, Lurleen’s 13th in a row. C’mon wheel! No jokers!

One of the benefits of being in the education field is having a couple weeks off before the new year to recharge a little bit. The downside, however, is having a couple weeks where I can’t stay busy and end up thinking abut how close we are to Homecoming. It seems like the days move at a glacial pace from now until about mid-January.
