Huh. Not one I usually think of as being in "Rushmore territory." Will have to revisit.

Late to the game but I'll take a shot at this. Not easy! I love Patterson's songs and would have a hard time narrowing down a top ten list.

Living Bubba
World of Hurt
Puttin People on The Moon
SInkhole

Alright it’s just after 6 a.m. in Georgia. I’m sitting in my truck eating breakfast at work trying not to overthink this. I understand favorite is not the same thing as best but I’m having a harder time keeping those separate than I was when I ranked Cooley’s.

Just taking a shot and not over analyzing it,

The Living Bubba
Lookout Mountain
The Southern Thing (Am I really the only one that has included it? Even if it’s not a favorite for someone it can’t be denied what the song has meant in the band’s history.)

Goode’s Field Road

I actually prefer the version on TFP to the one on BTCD but my favorite is what it has become live. And with that I’m stopping. I could easily get to chasing my tail on this if I don’t.

Sitting in the bus, looking out the window, at a festival in England, people watching
Correct. If I remember it right it was not so much a co-write as the song title and that line came from a crack that Cooley made while he and Patterson watched a group of festival goers in England.

I am willing to do a myriad of embarrassing activities to be accepted into your inner circle. But nothing involving biscuits. I've heard bad things.

And now for my shameless plug;
For the next month our "Swamp's Leonard Skinner Reality Tour" will include a southern rock memorabilia exhibit featuring the history of the Van Zant brothers at the Thrasher-Horne Center.
Greenville to Baton Rouge reminded me.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?
