Ghost to Most*
One of These Days
Uncle Frank*
Women Without Whiskey*

*IGTBA versions.

I concur that this is a near impossibility. Zip, Surrender, Ramon, Birthday Boy, Three Dimes, Shit Shots, Love Like This, '72...but since I assume this is an "at gunpoint" situation, those are my four.
I’d have a lot of nerve to go feigning shock and outrage/If I'd been my example I’d be worse

That's nothing, I think Arkansawyer has voted like 6 times since yesterday
A vile mendacity. I voted once, then pointed out one could build themed Rushmores. For instance, one could build the Cooley Show Tune Rushmore by starting with Women Without Whiskey.

Now, I realize that what I said there was to the effect of "Vote early, vote often! If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying hard enough." Reconciling the two statements is left as an exercise for the reader.

No you’re right about Til He’s Dead. Patterson song that Cooley sings. I like it too.

Women Without Whiskey
Zip City
Sounds Better in the Song
Where the Devil Don't Stay

Top three were easy. That last spot could be one of about 30. It was hard to not put Uncle Frank or One of These Days or Ramon Casiano in that spot.

We should do the Cooley Rushmore for lyrics. Four best lines.

You've got to be kidding. If the original exercise was torture, this one is Guantanamo.

It really seemed wrong to say Zip City without Primer Coat, but sacrifices had to be made.

Nope. It's easy as anything:
Talkin' tough is easy when it's other people's evil and you're judgin' what they do and don't believe.
Living in fear's just another way to die before your time.
Cussin' God and America and wishin' they'd just send me straight to hell.
If you were supposed to watch your mouth all the time, I doubt your eyes'd be above it.
Much easier than picking the songs. This was a breeze!

EDITED TO ADD: My sig line isn't from a song, so it doesn't count, and anyways, if I +were+ to have a Bonus Phrase on this four-clause EP, it'd be this one:
Has it been so long you don't know me, or I don't know you, or do you just miss me? Heh heh--I miss you, too.

I found this much easier. Lots of Cooley's songs stick in my mind as a whole--not so many of his epigrams.

Outgrowing me might be the best thing for her she's ever done.

Living in fear's just another way of dying before your time.

OK, I give up. I started to answer this and realized I could pick out a whole bunch of Cooley songs and draw two or more lines out of just those particular songs ("Lord knows I can't change" sounds better in the song than it does with hell to pay). And a bunch of stuff from Hwy 72. And Devil Don't Stay.

Cooley's lyrics are dense. He's a poet and Hood is a storyteller. They write differently and that's why they fit together so well.

And now I realize that "Shut up and get on the plane" should have definitely been #4 in my song list.

Why did I even try to do this?

simple: male respondents were characterized by a common situational ability to be the greatest person you ever met, or a total douchebag... females, in contrast, were characterized by their intelligence and kindness.

Uncle Frank
Carl Perkins's Cadillac
Zip City
Marry Me

I feel strongly about the first three. There's a dozen or two songs that could be the 4th song.

Today it looks like this:

Where The Devil Don't Stay
Gravity's Gone
When The Pin Hits The Shell
Three Dimes Down

It could be something different tomorrow.
