I saw this before and saw that you've changed from the earlier word but I can't help myself, why is Cooley a sissy? Enquiring minds and all thatMusicJunkie wrote:Awesome show but safe to say Cooley is a sissy.

I agree Bill, 100%.Bill in CT wrote:Despite the fact that 3 of my all-time favorites (DBT, Pearl Jam, The Replacements) have covered Kiss, I still say that each of the first 4 Van Halen albums crushes even the best Kiss albums.

I wrote a similar reply but decided against it. I don't expect anything enlightening or productive about a conversation prompted by someone calling someone else a pussy and/or sissy. My youngest kids are above that kinda shit.Tequila Cowboy wrote:I saw this before and saw that you've changed from the earlier word but I can't help myself, why is Cooley a sissy? I'd like to know, too. I think it takes a very brave person to call Cooley a pussy. Unless they are behind a computer screen far far away.Cole Younger wrote:I started to ask but figured I would leave it alone. But since it has been brought up, what’s the deal?
It’s the same person who wanted to hear Lisa’s Birthday, Daddy’s Cup, and Carl Perkins Cadillac. I’m guessing he called Cooley a pussy/sissy because he didn’t play any of those songs.Cole Younger wrote:I started to ask but figured I would leave it alone. I will work hard to regain your trust Mr. Knievel.bovine knievel wrote:Damn, now we have to fact check Bubba too?!

One of These Days - the country version. I think it was only played maybe twice. For btb
Well that's certainly a provocative statement. Would you care to expound?MusicJunkie wrote:Awesome show but safe to say Cooley is a sissy.
I've gotten Carl Perkins many times. Would love to get Lisa's Birthday or Self Destructive Zones. I finally gave up on ever getting Daddy's Cup. He mentioned in that recent podcast that he keeps forgetting about Til He's Dead or Rises, which I actually really like. Could be he just doesn't think about what he's gonna play at all until he's up there and then just plays whatever comes to mind. I know Patterson doesn't use a setlist either but I feel like he must think about it a lot for him to cycle songs in and out the way he does.Zip Up to Michigan wrote:It’s the same person who wanted to hear Lisa’s Birthday, Daddy’s Cup, and Carl Perkins Cadillac. I’m just speculating and not endorsing the opinion.
Although, it certainly would have been nice to get one of those or Birthday Boy instead of the third Marry Me of the weekend. But hey, I got my SDZ and LLT so I’m not gonna bitch.
As you can see by my reaction I thought it was a complement. He didn't say "a pussy", he said "is .pussy" in capitol letters.Swamp wrote:No doubt, but I still need some video.MusicJunkie wrote:Awesome show but safe to say Cooley is. PUSSY.
Let's all be thankful that you're still in one piece Mr. Swamp. For some reason I took it as some new slang meaning he was that good. I have stood directly in front of the man during his solos and when he whips out that slide. I'm done.
I walked around all day calling every thing I thought was cool pussy, and then he changed it
