A woman stood just to the side of the entrance keeping close to the HeAthens without joining their ranks. She was beautiful and looked ready to Rock & Roll. If ever a woman seemed not a candidate for murder...but then, who can ever know because deep inside the darkened club there lurked secrets and lies.

I just received a shipment confirmation in my email for a copy of the book. Strange though, since I already got my copy from the first print when someone picked it up at HC and brought it over. I can't remember having ordered another copy?

Re: The Company We Keep- Drive-By Truckers' Homecoming Book
I got a shipment notification a couple days after my book arrived.
The book is fantastic, btw. I'm really glad a second run happened. I usually make it to one night of Homecoming. Some years my wife comes with me, other times I roll solo. I tend to be more of a back of the room guy rather than wanting to be up front at the rail--I need some space around me and I like to be able to easily grab another beer and hit the bathroom. Even not being as ingrained in the fan community, I understood so much of what everyone in the book meant about feeling like you're a part of something bigger when you're a fan of this band. I'm really glad this book exists to document what this all means.

Looks like the shipping company only sent out emails—did not ship the books. Did anyone actually get a second book

Holy shit! This book is a thing of beauty. Kicking myself for not getting around to submitting some words. Thanks to all involved with this.

Re: The Company We Keep- Drive-By Truckers' Homecoming Book
I had a good story about a renewed friendship with the person who got me into DBT, but I never got around to writing it, so I'm my own butthole in this case.jimmyjack wrote: I only wish someone had asked me to write something for it! You buttholes.
