How was that Stone Brewing show at Brown's Island a "gimmick show?"
Just because it was a fly date and not part of a tour?
They played for two full hours.

Also whoever booked this tour to play The Ritz is a terrible person.
Absolutely the worst venue in the Triangle area, and maybe one of the worst venues in the entire world.

Alright! It will be my 1st time to this new venue. Looking forward to it.
I will be seeing Lucinda & DBT 3-4 times each on the OCC. I could see them in Orlando the night before the cruise. I could see them in St. Pete the night we get back. I could see them in Richmond right after D.C. & then stumble into HC.
I would go to all of those shows, but my wife will not be a willing participant. I will have to be crafty.

Agreed. If it were a regular headlining show we'd 100% be there. But a co-headlining gig means probably 90 mins of DBT at the most...at the Ritz. Probably going to pass.

^^^^^ Truth. Her band does rock hard. In fact sometimes I think they're a little too heavy and that her songs would benefit from a softer touch. And it's probably been 10 years since he left but I still miss Doug Pettibone's guitar playing.

This sounds just like a band you'd expect to play with DBT:

I read a dumbass critic--probably some adenoidal adolescent pissant--who said this song made her sound horny. That's wishful thinking on his part. This song sounds like she really likes who she's already fucking, thank you very much, no critidick required.

Or you could just spend the night in the snake infested swamp with me, the dogs and the Mrs and see them in Jax.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

I’m in for the DC show, look forward to seeing all of you planning to attend. I saw Courtney Barnett at the Athem. Big place. Give yourself some time, driving to the DC waterfront is a bear.

Wouldn't be so bad if DBT got 2 hours or so. Them getting 70-90 minutes seems like a waste. I dislike co-headlining shows no matter who the artists are.

I was at a funeral this morning and was not able to get tickets until 11:00. Ended up with a single in the 5th row for the Parker Playhouse house which is a nice sit down venue. This show is going to serve as a warm-up for the homecoming shows I will be attending.

Thanks for the offer, Swamp, but my wife is still working & we can’t make Jax by Fri. night. Truth be told, she would prolly rather see your dogs than any of those shows, though. As it turns out I will only be seeing Lucinda & DBT on the boat & in D.C. (Richmond still an option).

Got my ticket for Pensacola. Sounds like it will be a regular headlining set since Lucinda is not on the bill. Looking forward to another Rock Show!!

Heard this on the way into work this morning. As a songwriter I don't think I'll ever top this.

Hey Swamp, here is the set list for Pensacola. Bear with me though as they played a few new songs and I was not as familiar with the titles. Small venue , but the placed was pretty packed. Band was in a great mood and they were having a ton of fun on stage. Rocked it out as usual!!

Uncle Frank
Do It Yourself
Gravity's Gone
21st Century USA **New Patterson Song**
Where The Devil Don't Stay
HeAthens
First Air of Autumn
My Sweet Annette
Three Dimes Down. (The Tequila bottle made the rounds before they started the song)
Sink Hole
Ghost To Most
Goode's Field Road (Super funky version. Patterson told the long story about the song's inspiration)
Outside In **New Cooley Song** (I may not have the title correct. It was a pretty fast song and hard to catch the lyrics.)
Babies In Danger ** New Patterson Song** (Again I may not have the title correct)
Ramon Casiano
Darkened Flags
Surrender Under Protest
Thoughts and Prayers ** New Patterson Song**
Shit Shots Count
Puttin' People On The Moon
Made Up English Oceans
What It Means (Patterson told a story about a kid that was killed in Athens right after he moved there. He also told a story about going to see Patti Smith recently and how that relates to the questions asked in What It Means. "Love Each Other Motherfuckers!!!!" )
Kinky Hipocrit
KKK Took My Baby Away
Hell No I Ain't Happy

Lucinda was not there. Erika Wennerstorm played a 45 minute opening acoustic set.

No band? That's a bummer. The band when we saw her open in Macon was killer!

This may have been "Slow Ride Argument" which made it's debut last Spring.
