From van to tour bus
Does anybody know what year the band traded in the tour van for the tour bus?

Fly around the world and back.
Hope it don't run out of gas."
Sometime after September 2001 I guess? Wondering when they'll get the 747?

I want to say around the Decoration Day release but I don't know for sure.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Re: From van to tour bus
They were back in a van for the European tour last year. Sleeping in hotels. One of the boys (think it might have been Matt) said they had a bus on the EO tour some years before with bad suspension and nobody could sleep.

Your equation is incomplete. Other relevant variables to be plugged into the formula are sex and drugs.Rocky wrote:Apparently this rock 'n roll shit ain't as glamorous as it seems.
What used to be is gone and what ought to be ought not to be so hard
Re: From van to tour bus
I saw them twice in 2003 at Headliners in Louisville, and I'm almost certain they were still in the old white van both times. Saw them several times during 2004 and 2005 and at some point during that time frame, I think they switched over to the tour bus. If my memory serves me, I remember the bus being parked outside The Dame in Lexington during March of 2005. I'm sure they had gotten it before then, but that's the first time I think I remember noticing it.Tequila Cowboy wrote:I want to say around the Decoration Day release but I don't know for sure.

Re: From van to tour bus
Remember a while back when their old tour van was up for sale? Patterson wrote an "authentication" that gave some of their van history. My 3DD searching has come up empty, but if someone can track down that post it might shed some light on this question.
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs
