I’m hoping they fill mid/late October with a Midwest run
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

Looks like I'll be able to get in shape for Homecoming on Nov 6,7,8. Not wild about Tues/Wed/Thurs night shows since I don't have vacation days left to take and will have to work the day after each show, but for three nights in a row, I ain't gonna complain.

What does "An Evening With DBT" mean for those Saturn shows?

Usually means no opening band and a longer set from DBT

In for Atlanta. In for at least one Birmingham show probably 2. Saturn is a small, intimate venue should be great shows.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Doors at 7:00, Show at 8:00 . . . should make for a very nice night

Perhaps squeeze in Philly on 10/1 right in between Chattanooga and Peoria? Seems logical to me.

I'm about 90% sure we're going to do the Atlanta shows.

Looks like I've got some traveling to do.

In for the three AHC shows for sure... maybe Chattanooga as well, but that's a bit rough being on a Sunday.

The 3 Birmingham shows for sure (Hey, this _should_ mean I finally get to hear BIrmingham live, right?), and the 2 Nashville shows...

If I did those 8 then the last night in Nashville would be show #100, not that I'm keeping count or anything.

Easy Peasy... Make it an afternoon show, that way they can get back to Peoria in plenty of time...

I'm looking at those three Birmingham dates and wondering how foolish I'd be to expect to leave from a show that starts at 8:00 PM and expect to be on a bus out of town at 1:45 AM. I've done that for shows before fairly often when I wanted to scrimp on the hotel costs. Of course, they'll be in Little Rock, our "strange little city", the week after. Maybe I should use my pennies to see another DBT/Hold Steady show in Chicago and be grateful for that.

By the way, folks did notice the three nights of solo Patterson shows in October, right? San Diego, Santa Monica, and Mill Valley, October 12th-14th. A week later and I'd have reason to be out there, but I guess it's not to be.
The sooner we put those assholes in the grave&piss on the dirt above it, the better off we'll be

In for Atlanta (and maybe Knoxville), all three Birmingham shows, followed by both Nashville shows. I like to call it Homecoming: The Prequel.

I apologize if I should know you, but that's a pretty damn impressive 4th post!

Ha! Suppose I've been more of a lurker, but slowly working my way toward that double-digit post. Must have missed meeting you, but am associating the name with some phenomenal written observations about the shows. If that's you, I enjoy the hell out of them.

Got 2 for Knoxville, Orch Center, Row F as soon as presale started. Went back in as soon as I completed my order to look and they had Orch Center Row D available.

In for the Austin shows. Three years ago at the Scoot Inn was maybe my favorite DBT show. Just a magic evening where everything lined up. Should be a killer end of the fall tour for the boys.

...that Colorado run is pretty damn enticing as well. Ft. Collins brewery tours + DBT? Two birds. One stone.

Do it pearlbeer. Ft Collins is DBT country and home of my favorite ever show of theirs which happened in 2010 at Aggie Theatre. Matter of fact my favorite two places on earth to see the boys are Ft Collins and Austin so I’m pretty much obligated to make those happen this fall. And mid November seems to be a nice time to be in Austin.

While you all may laugh at my question because if you have a chance to see three shows, why pick one, I do wonder - is it best to see the first of three shows in a row in the same city or the last? I could make it to all Bham shows (I am in T-town) but probably will not. I purchased tix for Thursday but got to thinking about why that one vs Tuesday or Wednesday. I realize that whatever night I pick, the other two will be better!! :D
