The Jefferson Shows in Charlottesville are some of my favorites. Great venue, great sound, and epic set lists.

I think this will be the first time I've ever been to a Monday Rock Show. So I can check that off my bucket list.

One of my favorite Charlottesville moments was when the show had to be re-scheduled due to a snow storm and at the make up show later in the year Patterson said something like: "It didn't snow this time, did it motherfuckers......"

If anyone is new to Charlottesville or The Jefferson, I would be glad to provide recommendations on places to stay, parking, eating, drinking, tours of Confederate War Memorials (!!) or Monticello et al.

We live in Lynchburg, so we are going to make an up and back trip and not spend the night. We are opening a new venue in Lynchburg late 2018, so I'm already lobbying the Executive director to get the Truckers on the schedule in 2019. It is a renovated old theater with balconies. It should be really cool. http://www.academyfinearts.com/

See you at The Rock Show, Tim

Haven't missed a DBT show in town since 2008 I think.

All I've got is wow. Solid two and a half hours, no encore break, lots of classics, Days of Graduation (?!), an emotional moment before Perilous Night, the new Cooley song (love the back and forth vocal between Patterson and Cooley on the bridge), and a big burst of positive, rockin' energy from one of the best bands out. Ended with KKK Took My Baby Away AND Rockin' in the Free World after I'd assumed Hell No was going to close, they played those two like they'd been propelled from a cannon and really took the night up a notch.

Great show, would see again.

Wow, what a setlist and what a show! I wasn't there last night, but my bestest bud in the world (who's from C'ville) went, having never really had DBT "click" for him.

Text this morning: Dude. I am a convert. They are the fucking real deal!

Very very strong show. One of the better ones I've seen in the past few years.
Days of Graduation! Seen the band roughly 40 times now and that was a first timer for me.
As a Charlottesville resident, it felt really good to hear Patterson address the bullshit that happened here last summer and to dedicate The Perilous Night to the city & its residents.
Love this band so much. Always will.

Erika Wennerstrom's set ruled hard too. I liked that music better than any Heartless Bastards stuff I've heard.

Seeing DBT at The Jefferson in Charlottesville and The National in Richmond are the only two things I miss about living in VA. Looks like you guys got a great show last night.

It's a good sounding recording of a very hot show!

A question: When Patterson sings "Got a man of the people" just after 4:30 in "Rocking in the Free World", what does he sing next? It sounds like "he's (something something), he's got bone spurs, he's got no spurs." I'm sure about bone spurs.

The more I think about it, the more I want the art from this show's poster on a T-shirt. It can be just the art, the poster as it was produced, the art with its figures recomposed--I'm not picky. Just so long as all the hats are there.
