This is next to impossible for both of us to attend but I'm encouraging Beth to make the trip. Sounds special.
We call him Scooby Do, but Scooby doesn’t do. Scooby, is not involved

Any suggestions on a place to stay, in the neighborhood or not? I drink very little (if any), so driving to it isn't an issue. When the kid and I went to Florence, we got what I could get--a Quality Inn room, I think, which didn't suck. And I don't think anyone is going to comp me like when I went by myself last year. So your thoughts are welcome.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Florence when I saw Cooley there last December.

The Hampton is nice. If you want to go on the cheap then across the street is the Days Inn. Both are walkable to the venue.

This was a good show. I do think the long instrumental passages in a "Songwriters in the Round" format were a little much, but that's a minor quibble.

Did Cooley get the vocals right on "Eyes Like Glue"? The only time I've seen him perform it with the band, he fucked them up so badly that Patterson was with pissing his pants from laughter.
Now it's dark.

Richmond, on Halloween? I think he made it maybe a verse before it...transistioned to Marry Me.

I was thinking DC, but you are correct.
