that week when DBT playing Seattle is a good one. My birthday, DBT, possibly Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Nice to have DBT show on a Saturday night. work night shows are getting very hard to pull off.

Is another round of tour dates coming? The State Theatre (State College, PA) just announced an April 2 date with the full band.
And I knew when I woke up Rock N Roll would be here forever

There it is:

3.23 - Macon, GA
3.24 – Wilmington, NC
3.25 – Norfolk
3.26 – Charlottesville
3.28 – Wilmington, DE
3.29 & 30 – Brooklyn
3.31– Philadelphia
4.2 – State College
4.3 & 4 – Toronto
4.6 & 7 – Chicago
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

The outdoor amphitheater in Wilmington is one of my favorite places to see a show. In for this for sure. I'm a little surprised we're not getting a Cat's Cradle run again this Spring. Oh well, can't complain with as much as they play this region.

Awesome. I wish it was The Vic, but I'll look forward to seeing them at Thalia Hall!

It looks like Erika Wennerstrom from Heartless Bastards is opening solo acoustic, which is an added plus.

It is a truly beautiful hall, and they checked my luggage for me so I could leave from there directly. A class act! I'll have to consider making these somehow.

I'd sure like to like them better than I do--I don't dislike them, I just haven't loved them--and maybe this will turn the trick.

Thalia Hall has better sight lines and is a better sounding room in general. So those are two huge pluses for seeing a DBT show. While Pilsen is an up and coming neighborhood, I just like the ritualistic nostalgia the Chicago crew showing up and catching up pre-show at Matilda's without any prior coordination. Lakeview is a cool neighborhood and the Vic is a cool old subjectively- beautiful dump. I've remembered some fantastic DBT shows there in the past and have had some that are hazily fantastic. I've laughed, I've puked, and I've cried. It's hard to let nostalgia go.
I'm excited to see some DBT in Chicago though!

Lots of temptation here, particularly Brooklyn, Toronto and Chitown. Excellent memories of shows & good times in To and Chicago and I especially loved the Thalia and the bar/restaurant attached. Too early to say what might be possible, though.

Agreed on Thalia Hall. You add in the intimacy of the venue and the sound and it's a real winner. Having seen DBT at the Vic and Thalia, I prefer the latter. Not that I have any problem with the Vic (besides the crazy drink prices!).

Erika Wennerstrom is great. I've seen her a number of times solo - good stuff.

Where are the Texas dates? Hell, Erika lives here in Austin, surely she could pass along an invite to the boys.

Odd that the 3/28 date isn't DC... The DE and Philly shows are only about 35 miles apart...??
No DC show? By the time these dates roll around, it'll have been > 1 years since the last one.

Mar 26, 2018 Charlottesville, VA: Jefferson Theater
Mar 28, 2018 Wilmington, DE: The Queen
Mar 29, 2018 Brooklyn, NY: Brooklyn Bowl

The last DBT show in DC was 4/22/17. I am happy to wait if it means we get 2 nights at the 9:30 Club.
