damn, the Doug Fir is a sweet little place. Saw Jason there in 2011. Might have to try for that one, though it's a bit of a trek

Hmm... looks like a 7:30 set time for that show. That gives him plenty of time to hustle over to Brooklyn afterward to see The Hold Steady with us. ;)

Come back to DC in December and hit the show with Worldwide Bill and me!
I keep it all together for the sake of the kids.

Hoped we might get Patterson in Denver this winter, but maybe the eight shows the band will have played in Colorado this year have them a little burnt out on us.
All it takes is one wicked heart, a pile of money, and a chain of folks just doing their jobs

The December 15 show might be a possibility, but there's no record for beers exchanged between friends under the shadows of the cage around the 40 watt light!

Cheers!

So I have my tickets for Sellersville and night two of the DC dates.

For those that have seen Patterson solo before, does he ever sign albums after the show? If so, I was going to bring a vinyl jacket to get signed.

Maybe I'll cross the river for the first time since I last did it to see DBT at the Bowery. Seems early enough to not have to miss the end of the show to make my train home.

More likely afterwards. Give him a little while to decompress and he might.

Yes indeed - the bar right their on the corner has extremely edible food and decent beer.

Apparently the NYC show will streaming live in virtual reality (wha?) via an Oculus Rift app called Endless Riff.

If you've got that thing, take a break from bedding Taylor Swift and go here: https://www.endlessriff.com/

And risk Ms. Swift writing an entire album about what an awful jerk I am? No thanks, I'll stay in bed where I belong.

The idea of watching Patterson do his thing with virtual reality goggles on is weird as shit to me.
