In for both nights. Can't make Fox Bros. because my Allman Brothers tribute band is playing that afternoon about 1/2 mile away. It's free so come say hello if you want! http://fallfest.candlerpark.org/music/

I really thought I was going to make these shows and the Oxford show, and now I'm thinking I won't make any of them, thanks to troubles I think I'll edit out of this post.

I guess I might get to go to the show in Fayetteville as a result of current difficulties, which is at my least favorite venue of all the places I've seen DBT, but at least I'll get to see Lori and Cliff if I go. Then vacation spent on a non-groovy ending to the month.

Holy shit! Your Allman Tribute band sound great. Plan to go to Homecoming for the first time next year and hopefully you guys will be playing around the area at that time. Who knows-maybe you guys will make it up north to NYC.

All you folks thinking about Fox Bros... what time do you want to meet up? I was thinking maybe early afternoon, so we can a) sleep late after night 1; b) maybe miss the rush times with crazy crowds/wait times; c) get a big table. Let me know what you're thinking and I can call and see about a reservation...

Was hoping it could go down around 2 or 3. Emily and I are making the 5-hour drive up Saturday so too much earlier than that would force us to get going at an ungodly hour.

Anybody sitting on an extra Friday ticket? Just found out I can go and figured I'd see if any of y'all were stuck with an extra before I hit ticket-whatever is handling the Variety Playhouse these days.

I'm in for both DBT shows and the Patterson solo show.
I am planning to go early to Fox Bros so I am not late for the Patterson show at The Earl.

Why don't we say 3 pm then? Anybody who wants to join us, post here or message me or whatever and we'll try to get a big table.

Welp, actually, just got tix for that Patterson show at 3 - thanks for the heads up, Bill. So better make it 1 or something and we'll get our asses out of bed nice and early.

Any tips for a reasonable hotel close to the Variety Playhouse? Bryan and I have toyed with the idea of going. He's in Oxford now, and I'm home with my kids/his grandkids!

Y'all don't sleep on Strand of Oaks this weekend. Such a killer band to have opening these shows.

All I have to say is that anyone who saw both nights last weekend in Ashville and is going both nights in Atlanta this weekend is a MF'er.

I see a visit to the Euclid Avenue Yacht Club in my future. Especially post-show. Diagonally across the street from VP. And a word of advice--security at VP is strict about lighting up so get your edibles ready!

I was gonna post a picture featuring Gob Bluth, but then I remembered that whole copyright thing. So I'll just say this:

I've made a huge mistake.

Hope y'all enjoy the shows.

So if i've got this right some of you are seeing 4 rock shows in 2 great venues in one week and even the slackers are seeing 2 rock shows this wkend in "they always bring their A game to" Atlanta. And you're going to Fox Bros tomorrow afternoon. While I am fasting. No, motherfuckers does not fully capture it.
