Seven years, a very long time but it seems like yesterday. Thanks to everyone who make this place what it is, a sanctuary of good music and good friends in the wacky world of the internet. Oh, and thanks to jonicont for starting the whole thing and keeping it running all these years. Cheers!

In the same email where Jenn set me, a total stranger to her, up a HUGE favor for which I remain incredibly grateful, she also told me about this message board. It was May of 2010, so I guess I got in toward the ground floor. When I post this, I'll see my joining date and find out just how wrong I am about that.

Seven years. Wow. I have sure enjoyed my time here. It has made rock shows even more fun and I really have met some great people because of this place. When some of the ones here who are also Facebook friends with me comment on posts over there my wife will sometimes ask who that is. When I explain she says something like, "Oh right. Your concert friends." Discovered some great music here that I probably never would have heard of too.
