I realize it's probably still too fresh in my mind but this weekend has been one of the best 2 night runs I've ever seen. I mean 30 & 31 songs on back to back nights? I finally get Do It Yourself after 33 shows? Yeah, it was a hell of a weekend!
Turn you demons into walls of goddamned noise and sound.

I couldn't agree with Brett more. I think this weekend were shows 38 & 39 & last night might be the greatest concert I've ever seen in my life. Friday night was fucking awesome but they just blew the roof off of the place last night. It started with the slow burn of the amazing Guns of Umpqua & then Cooley tore into One of These Days & it was full speed ahead from there. Christ with every next song I was just in awe. By the time they slowed it down for Once They Banned Imagine I was exhausted & needed to catch my breath. I could only imagine how the band felt. They completely kicked the shit out of us last night & I can't thank them enough for being the best kept secret in Rock n Roll still after all these years. I've seen hundreds of bands & thousands of shows but there is absolutely nothing like a DBT rock show. The addrenaline (and alcohol) is still pumping this morning & I'll be on a high for days after this weekend. Such a great goddamn time & always so great seeing all the cool folks that are on here. Can't wait to get a boot from last night's show cause I will be playing that motherfucker very loud for years to come to bring back all the great feelings from this one. Thank God for Rock n Roll and the Drive-By Truckers. Rock n Roll indeed also saved my life as a teenager & continues to every single day I'm still alive & kicking on this rock. Sorry for the half drunk rambling but holy fuck is it great to be alive!

Two night runs is when the shit goes down!!! Makes me that much more exited about Richmond.
Cooley busts out One Of These Days and the Truckers are covering Elton John? Wow.
