11/4 & 11/5 - The Orange Peel - Asheville, NC

Post by brett27295 »

Seems about time to start this thread. Who's in?

We should be getting into town in the early afternoon on Friday and are staying a few miles from the venue. The Wicked Week Brewery Pub is located about 100 ft from the Orange Peel if anyone is looking for a meeting spot. Their brews are highly recommended for those who enjoy a quality beer.

I've got about a 50% chance of travelling from Pittsburgh for these shows right now. Hopefully that percentage is trending upward as the week goes on.

Sort of a strange trip, but I'm suffering from withdrawal and chance circumstances kind of make this trip possible. The only shows on the horizon that are any closer to me are in Philly and Richmond and those are mostly weekday shows, although the first show post election in Philadelphia on the 9th is certainly intriguing.

If anyone is shorthanded I have two tickets for each night.

Unfortunately i had a last minute work thing come up and cant make it...first asheville shows ive missed in 10 years. If its anyones first time youre in for a treat.

I was able to convince the wife to swap this weekend out for homecoming, so i do have that going for me.

Forgive me if im violating any posting rules with the tickets and delete, i havent been active much in the past few years with the board and dont remember all the rules.

We were planning on travelling to the show, but it looks like we aren't going to make it. So I also have tickets to get rid of -- 2 for each show. If somebody who is going to the show wants to scalp them and donate whatever $$ they get from the tickets to the next 3DD fundraising drive for Nucci's Space, let me know and I'll e-mail the tickets to you.

Very psyched to make my 1st pilgrimage to Asheville.

And it will be a pretty awesome way to avoid all the BS on the tele before next week's election.

Bring on the Rock Show.

If anybody wants the tickets, let me know. You can do what you want with them, but if you do sell them I would ask that you give the $$ to Nucci's. Or you can randomly give them to somebody you meet at the infamous Ashville drum circle. I'd hate to see 4 tickets go to complete waste.

The space/time continuum is all relative. One man's Louisville is another's Asheville. I just hope your Asheville coincides w/ DBT's.

I'm urging a friend there to go. If she and her husband decide to, they'll need tickets. If any turn up, they may want them.

Pickl has a new life without you. I know it's hard, but you're going to have to accept it and move on.

Y'all have fun tonight. Asheville is such a cool town. I went therefor DBT shows several times when I lived in Virginia.

So do y'all think "Pickle" and his original partner will be see each other at homecoming?

I can just hear the band playing, "reunited and it feels so good!"
