That will be awesome. Only slightly less awesome will be the Wednesday night appearance of Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.

Thread bump, because our guys have been bumped

It seems Stevie Wonder has bumped DBT out of tomorrow's live Colbert broadcast. The guys will still be going to NYC and taping a performance for the show, which will air at a later date. Bunmer.

So what are you saying? The boys are good enough to play w/ Booker T, but not Stevie W? Feh.

What a bummer! Is Stevie going to sing Isn't She Lovely to Donald Trump?

Stevie did a last minute Hillary benefit show in Philly on Friday night, so he must be making the pre-election rounds. And Stevie Wonder obviously trumps DBT. (pun intended)

You Haven't Done Nothin' would be more appropriate.

How about Ebony and Ivory with Cooley instead of McCartney!

So, I happen to find myself in NYC today. Anyone know if I can get into the taping, or if there is a show in NYC since they are here?

From the pic above I'd guess the taping already occurred. I haven't heard anything about a show "as long as they're in the neighborhood" and given that they're playing the city in 3 mos they're probably contractually prohibited from playing there now (at least under their own name - If u see a show advertised for, say, Adam's House Cat you should probably go).

Nice performance... Boys looked and sounded good.

Colbert's pimping of the new album before they started playing was cut out of the broadcast I saw (with the exception of a millisecond of seeing him holding the album up).
Also, mid song, there were multiple skips / blips (almost like they were playing the performance from a dvd and it skipped (didn't seem like a local tv signal issue)... Anyone else experience this?

A week late is better than never...

Interesting, I think my local station, CBS 21 in Harrisburg, PA, ran their local spots too long.
Missed 99% of Colbert's pimping of the record / band.
Also glad to see the sound / video glitch was apparently local as well...

Absolutely smoking. They did a great job with the camera footage, as well.
