Finest Work Songs--REM tribute

Post by Beaverdam »

I couldn't find any info on this topic earlier on 3DD.

This morning I stumbled upon a couple of Patterson tracks on an REM tribute album. All tracks are done by Athens artists.

Did others know about this??? Is this old news???? I know the albulm is not new.

I remember when it happened and have the record. One of my favorite cuts from the album is Liz Durrett's version of "The One I Love" that was recorded at the Earl in Atlanta. She was sick at the time of the concert at the 40 Watt. It may also be worth mentioning that she's Vic Chesnutt's niece.

By the time you drop them I'll be gone
And you'll be right where they fall the rest of your life
