Messed my foot up bad last Monday running, so much so I couldn't sleep for two nights (I went to the ER for some Oxy...). Have had a miraculous recovery that has me at about 90% today, hoping to be closer to 100% by my flight Wednesday

I'm getting real fired up for my first homecoming

If they do the snip without putting you under, I think shots are recommended at any point in the process. And here's a Fun Fact known to no one: You can use testicles for two, one, or zero days to Homecoming, all with the same video!

I went to the only other SB the Falcons played in and watched them lose to Elway after being briefly ahead. I couldn't face going to this one in person---very good call on my part.

So all of a sudden I don't have a commitment that Sunday, but I think I'm not going to try to go this year anyway. I've waited long enough that finding tickets is really unlikely and making it all work out just seems like too much of a hassle. It's not like I have more than twenty bucks sunk into the bus fare. And I wasn't really wanting to stand all night on that plantar wart anyway.

Is it possible that in a a page and a half since Allison's original infamous post nobody has asked, "Do you pick your toes in Poughkeepsie?" Somehow, "do you pick your toes in athens?" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Inspired by the last 2 nites of soul shaking renditions of "Kinky Hypocrite," here's my suggestion for Thursday night. I know it will meet with R-E-S-I-S-Tance, and of course it will never happen but if it did I believe you would thank me later: The band should play Sticky Fingers or Exile on Main Street in order, then finish up w/ a few of their own classics including, duh, "Kinky Hypocrite" and "Aftermath."

Of course my last day of work before HC has to become a 12 hour day. I'm already in HC mode but just having to spend 12 hours here is a drag. 6:00 am Wednesday can't get here fast enough, I'm ready to be on my flight.

Also, if an orphaned ticket for Friday night is looking for a loving home, I'll gladly step up and take it in.

I thought this was a great idea. Since moving to the Memphis area I haven't found anything local that I love, but I'll let you try. I live about an hour outside of Memphis and planned to pick up some good beer while in Memphis but completely forgot...I had to pick up my kid. Where are my priorities???

Anyway, the grocery stores in my town have a limited local selection, and I'm planning to pick some up (Ghost River and Wiseacre).
