It is downtown and yes I've stayed there. Nice hotel. They renovated a couple of years back.

I stayed there once and on the second day of my stay I noticed a pile of toenail clippings on the carpet in the far corner of the room. I complained at the front desk and they sent a cleaning crew in immediately and also comped my room service and gave me free meal vouchers for the rest of my stay. But it was still so gross that I haven't been back since.

I have not seen BJ Barrahm solo, but have seen American Aquarium a number of times, which is always a great show. BJ's new album is good, so I would recommend going!

I'm working all day Wednesday and not getting into town till Thursday night. Being a homecoming newbie, I didn't realize it was a weeklong event.

I have just really started liking American Aquarium in the past week or so. I'd had friends talk about them for years, but I'd never listen. I like Jamey Johnson a lot. My wife (who is a DBT fan too) will tell you JJ put on the best show she's ever seen. Right before he got popular he played a "club" in Lynchburg, VA...walked out and said something to the extent of, "I'm gonna give y'all a lesson in country music. If you don't like it you can leave!"

I had no idea about the thing at Flicker until TC mentioned it, I wasn't paying much attention to HC when I thought I couldn't go. I'll certainly be at Flicker Wednesday.
