getting really excited for the rock show. the only show i've seen was the dirt underneath a year ago. & i got real into the band when southern rock opera came out! long sad story about missing shows. about to be cured! i got the day after the show off as getting home well after midnight & reporting to work @ 5AM don't mix too well nowadays. for those that haven't been to the showbox (market) before, its probably the best club in seattle. smallish & very well run. i actually have seats because of mobility issues & the club treats me very well in that regard. will write up some sort of review after the show. lydia loveless opening is a definite good thing. i want to hear sign o the times like on the recent aspen tape. awesome version!

Visiting Seattle for the first time and the trip coincided with this show. Looking forward to seeing the band so far away from where I'm used to seeing them play.

Flying out to Seattle from Jacksonville, FL on the 28th to catch the show and to hopefully make the run down to Portland for the next two. Gonna be good with Lydia loveless opening.

the show was amazing! clocked in about 2 hours 45 minutes. they didn't even take an encore break, just kept playing. lydia loveless was excellent, too. i got walking pneumonia but went anyway. bought signed copy of the new record for me & my friend. the tour shirt is really cool, too. the picture on the inner sleeve of the new record. this was my 1st electric show & they exceeded my expectations (which were high). sure there were some songs i would've liked to have heard but they have so many not complaining in the least. i'm getting old though. i took today off from work. no way that was happening @ 5am. by the time i got home it was 2am. worth the effort though. recovery mode today.

it was fucking epic and we missed a good seven songs or so. left after 'the company i keep.' hate i missed 'kinky hypocrite' and 'let there be rock' but we were already late for picking up our little guy at a gracious friend's house.
'surrender under protest' is a sight to behold live.
words don't do em justice but i mean, goddamn.

Seen em about a dozen times and I think after a couple days I can say this was my favorite show I've seen. The Showbox at the Market is a great place to see a show, and they were having fun all night. They played over two and a half hours, no breaks, no encores. Where the Devil Don't Stay had the place going crazy 3rd song in, and I really like the rework of Man I Shot. Was hoping for A World of Hurt and Company I Keep so that was nice. They played nine songs off the new album and they all sounded great. Early live favorites are Darkened Flags, Sun Don't Shine, Baggage, Ever South, and Once They Banned Imagine. So glad they are finally getting some of the attention and accolades they deserve!
