Aftermath! Sign O the Times! Kinky Hypocrite!

No worries, Big Tom. I think that setlist makes a review almost superfluous.

HOLY SHIT!
Santa Fe, Aftermath, Sign O' the Times, The Bitch is Back!
Was Aftermath the studio version or the re-worked version?
Looking forward to the recording of this show! Thanks for taping, Tom, if that was you.

I can't wait for this Fall tour, sounds like it will be a doozy!

I am hoping it was the rework. I have only heard it once, reworked. I really hope this recording doesn't sit on a hard drive for a year before being posted. This set was a monster!

Had to edit my post, the Aftermath rework I have heard does sound pretty good. I got it confused with the This Fucking Job rework which is not a very good quality recording (but I am still grateful to have got to hear it).

Here is the Aftermath track, and of course it is a BigTom recording!

This show was a monster. First I'd heard of any of the new Cooley stuff aside from "Surrender Under Protest," so needless to say I'm even more impatient for 9/30 now. Crowd was great, though it was a little bit odd to turn around at a full-tilt Rock Show to see tables with SKYY bottle service. Aspen.

On a side note, sat down to lunch when we got into town and then realized Patterson and Jay were sitting a table or two over from us. Figured they deserved to enjoy their meal in peace, so didn't interrupt, but was tempted to make an idiot of myself. Probably kept glancing over like a goof anyway.

Next time I catch a show, I'd love to meet up with some of the 3DD crew. I read the board a lot, but don't post often--just not a "joiner" by nature, really. But I can tell what great folks post here, so that's my New Album Resolution.

John, thanks for the recording. I was hoping this one would surface.
BTW, the links in this thread work fine, the links in the "Live Recordings" Forum didn't work for me...
Also, I only see 18 tracks in the FLAC link... :?

Ignorant question: Do I have to have a Dropbox account to download as a .zip file? I'm willing to do them onesie-twosie rather than create yet another account, but I'd rather get everything I want. And a pony. But I'll settle for a .zip file.

In this case I think the zipped FLAC file is too large for whatever limit Dropbox puts on it as I'm signed in but it told me it was too large to D/L.
It let me D/L the MP3 Zip file just fine...

Thanks again John for processing / posting. Thanks to Mark and Tom for recording!

Ditto to all that. I'm just starting to listen to it now and it sounds great! Thanks for making another day at work more than just another day at work.

I just wanted to let everyone know I plan to have this on the Archive later tonight. I have a funeral service to attend and pallbearer for today but will hopefully have time to up the FLACs tonight. I'll post links as soon as it is up for those who still don't have it or are having trouble getting it off dropbox. It's also nice to have it archived long term there as well. Thanks Jonicont for the permission to repost. All applicable credits and source/lineage will be included.

I got the show up on the Archive. I submitted a request to have it moved into the actual Drive-By Truckers collection.

I uploaded the FLAC source as it was except I did case conversion on the file names, added ID tagging to all of the files and made a simple cover art which I added to each specific file's ID tagging.
