Didn't look like this had been posted anywhere else on this forum so I thought I would leave it here. As many of you probably know, Patterson has been writing songs since he was eight years old. Here is the third song he ever wrote:

Thanks for posting, he performed this during his appearance at the Film: Acoustic series at the Carolina Theatre in Durham last year when he hosted a screening of Network.
