Cooley Solo (DC)

Post by guitarmanmcs »

Anyone else going to the show in D.C.? I'll be the first to admit I know very little about D.C. but seeing as it is a Friday and that I have always wanted to see a solo show I am definitely in. Looks like the show is close to the 9:30. Anyone ever been there before? How is parking? Suggestions? Hopefully it sells well...looks like tickets are still available which surprised me considering how well received they are in D.C. and that this venue holds around 500.

I'm planning to go to this show. I've been to a few shows at the U Street Music Hall -- it's an ok venue but street parking can be a challenge in that area and there aren't many garages. Make sure you get there early because there are 2 shows on Friday, and Cooley is the early show, starting at 7pm.
I keep it all together for the sake of the kids.

Either way, it's an early start for a Friday night show. There's another show there at 10:30.

Great show last night. Thanks to the person who recorded it; I know you were right next to me but I didn't get to speak to you too much. It's always a treasure to own the shows I attended. Cooley seemed to be in great spirits despite the trouble with the train from Philadelphia. The venue was nothing great; I doubt I would go there again unless I had no other options. I loved Cooley's closing with Everybody Needs Love.
