My favorite Portland musician (yep even more than Patterson) played this show as well. I wish I had known about it. It would have been awesome to see both of them...and most certainly something I never would have thought would happen. I'm guessing Patterson is much more likely to be a fan of Stephen Malkmus/Pavement than the other way around. I'm looking forward to asking Patterson about his favorite Portland bands the next time I see him.
