Brooklyn March 6-7
Two weeks out, we need a thread. I'm in for night 2.*
*You New Yorkers are slacking. Pretty bad when a Philly guy has to start the Brooklyn thread.

Re: Brooklyn March 6-7
What can anyone say about the venue? I read capacity is very small at 550. Looking forward to night 1.
Re: Brooklyn March 6-7
Great sound on the floor. Elevated areas on the side are a great place to see the show if you're on the rail. 1st balcony on the rail is good. Upper balcony sucksangryandy wrote:What can anyone say about the venue? I read capacity is very small at 550. Looking forward to night 1.
Always go to the show

IN for both nights - looking forward to seeing them at this venue. Dirt Underneath Tour was the last time they were there.

In for both nights. I'm told that the hall is much like the Bowery Ballroom, with a capacity of 550. Should make for a cozy rock show.

In for both nights. It's a great small hall. Roof will be blown off.

In for night 2. Slim chance at night 1, but unless tickets become available, it is "no chance"

I was thinking with all the nice things said about him, Jonicont might get me a ticket and drive down and pick me up...emandrisdad wrote:phungi wrote:In for night 2. Slim chance at night 1, but unless tickets become available, it is "no chance"

For anyone going to the Sunday show I highly recommend this event. This is my favorite beer event each year, hands down. Mugs cant be more that a short
walk from the venue. I'll be at Day 1 on Saturday. There will probably be left overs for those of us going to the Monday show.

In for both nights. MHOW is a great room.
Re: Brooklyn March 6-7
Anyone else remember the last time they played Brooklyn, at the Brooklyn Bowl? That was a monster show. Lots of craziness that night.

Re: Brooklyn March 6-7
Actually it was Damon who took the running leap off the stage to corral the crazy dude who had been warned a few times previously by Cooley. I also remember that they opened with the southern thing. Awesome show.Jonicont wrote:That's the one. That was also the day that Clarence Clemons died and the preshow music by the matador was all of Springsteen's best saxophone solo songs.

Re: Brooklyn March 6-7
I remember the guy running all the way from the back of the stage and then off; flying over the crowd and then Damon going after him. Maybe I'm suffering early onset ? And now that you've mentioned it Dr. John, I do remember Patterson ripping his shirt open at the end. Thanks!

Re: Brooklyn March 6-7 EXTRA TICKET
Howdy. Have an extra ticket for Sunday night. It's yours for the lesser of face value or the cost of a couple shots of whiskey.
Any takers?

Re: Brooklyn March 6-7 EXTRA TICKET
I may take you up on this. Got a Brooklyn friend who's been waffling on whether she wants to join us or not. Will shoot you a PM if she gets off the fence. If somebody else beats her to the punch that's fine too.Smack_Adams wrote:Howdy. Have an extra ticket for Sunday night.
