Jonicont is an above-and-beyond kind of friend, and we are lucky to have him. True story: he once diagnosed me with tennis elbow at a rock show. I did what he told me (namely, get on some anti-inflammatories and lay off the phone-swiping) and it cleared right up.

I know for a fact that John has shared his medical expertise far and wide on this board w/out ever requesting or even hinting at any compensation. Yet one more reason to celebrate and appreciate him.

Wait, he gives free medical advice? Wow, that's going to save me some money...though I suppose a full physical on the floor of the Cat's Cradle may be slightly awkward for some attendees.

The good doctor is a hall of fame level dude. He does so much that we all benefit from here and he does it with the greatest attitude. He is stupidly under appreciated.

Most of y'all that I know here, John introduced me to you. Brought me along to my first 3dd get together when he had known me for five minutes. He made me feel welcome and at ease in a room full of folks I had never actually met. Then he hung close to me at the show because he knew I was there by myself.

Thanks for all that you do, John. You're a good man and a good friend.

This has nothing to do with the exam.

can't add much to what has been said, other than to say that not only did Jon welcome me into the fray as though I were an old friend, but he even looked out for my Homecoming well-being when he mistook me for a shroom-head based on my board name.

Also, he helped mastermind and pull off last year's "I Blame Clams" campaign, with a focus on how any profits could go to Nuci's Space.

I wanted to chime in with some smart-assed complaint, or somehow fault the guy, just for balance, then end with more heartfelt praises. I couldn't come up with one single example of John being anything less than helpful, genuine, and at all times going above and beyond.

He knows how I feel about him, and I guess this thread just gives a reason for the rest of you to know too.
But now, on the other hand, that TC asshole...

I still have a little mark on my hand where one of those damn Cooley/Hood buttons in my jeans pocket scratched me. Thanks, Jonicont!

Enough with jonicont already. If I plan on doing some rabbit hunting later this year, do yall think I should get a coonhound or beagle? Anybody know any good breeders?

I think breeding a coonhound with a beagle and expecting to get a rabbit dog is a terrible idea.

 yeah I got a good laugh out of the idea of hunting rabbits with coon dogs. then again, maybe they hunt rabbits with coon hounds in Pa. Never been there so I don't know.

Here's everything you need to know about PA: Philadelphia in the east, Pittsburgh in the west, Alabama in the middle. Now Clams is from the more enlightened area of PA and perhaps hasn't done much hunting...I'm from the Alabama part :D . We don't hunt rabbits with dogs where I come from.
