East Coast Tour & More

Is it possible that there's not a thread about the east coast shows in March? Plus TX and Cain's in Tulsa in April. Plus a few more.

Anyway, 2 shows in DC, 2 Bklyn, Providence, Portland ME and Jay Peak VT. Who knew? Not me. My bank account is a little happier that I decided to pass on Springsteen tix.

^^A loooot of possibilities for us here. Though some of the days don't fall ideally for me work-wise. I'm thankful that we have lots of time to plan though. :D :D

That would be Historic Cain's Ballroom, where I once danced on stage with Iggy Pop. It is one of my favorite places to see music in the world, even with those fucking gates in front of the stage, so they can herd the kids like cattle. Mister Gorbachev, tear down that wall!

I just checked the ticket link for the Mountain Goats in Providence as they're playing the same venue as DBT. I was happy to see that it's GA with seats so if the DBT show is the same, that will favor those of us willing to line up early.

The obvious question is "How far is Carrboro from Charlotte?"

;)

5 shows within less than 4 hours, but only a month after Homecoming?

Nice timing, guys!

With afternoon traffic it's pushing 3 hours. The closer you get to the Chapel Hill/Durham/Raleigh area the worse it gets.

Shooting for both DC shows and Brooklyn #2.

Any word on openers? (I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict J Roddy in Washington)

In for DC, Ithaca, Brooklyn N2.

DC N2 was sold out, but I kept trying and got in.

Love the MHOW venue. 8 years since they played there?

What's the deal with San Antonio? Looks like the only presale is a Citi card one through live nation. Anyone know any passwords?

OK, Bklyn nite 1 now covered.

This is most confusing. If you go to the "shows" page on the dbt site and hit "buy tickets", some of the buttons take u to ticketmaster and others to Frontgate (DBT ticketing). Ticket availability and prices are different on each. So, if you get sent to ticketmaster and can't get tickets, go back and find the buy tickets button for a different show (I think I used the Portland show) and then look for the show you want when you get to the first page. Surprisingly enough, or maybe not, tickets are more expensive through DBT ticketing. Yeah, like i said, confusing.

Still debating what other shows to commit to. Providence and Portland are of course most likely.

That makes me optimistic about a more Upper Midwestern summer run. That would be swell.

Probably just the DBT Store presale. General sale is probably later this week. I know the Cat's Cradle shows don't go on sale until Friday even though the presale was yesterday.

Salisbury, Maryland is a weird place for the Truckers to play / start a mini tour from.
