There's a few famous hot chicken places but I can vouch for Hattie B's. Its killer. Quite jealous of you guys hitting these shows, have a blast!

Tip on Nashville. Don't stay downtown. It's much cheaper to stay out by the airport and use Uber or Lyft. Parking downtown is pretty expensive in fact it's more than the cost of Uber.

Yep. We're at the Courtyard by the airport. We've stayed there almost every time we see shows in Nashville.

Dexateens were en fuego. DBT RTFO as always. Todd Snider and Brittany Howard were there rockin' out. Now for night 2. All is well.

The new Dexateens song is really something, isn't it? Did they get the crowd doing the call and response?

Not at all... In fact it was one the best DBT shows I've seen, and I've seen many dating back to the very first Adam's House Cat show. I think you may see some reviews pop up after everyone gets over the hangover and ear ringing. Highlights were Southern Thing, Hell No, Sounded like a train, the opener Made Up English Oceans, $3 PBR tallboys. The Dexateens were freakin awesome!

Went out to Nashville with my girlfriend and a bud to knock off Nashville from the place to go list and 2 nights DBT. The first night was top 5. We had no clue how they'd top it. They did. The following is rough and in no particular order and I'm forgetting probably 5 songs. Patterson's intro into Southern Thing was something we're probably gonna here more of. Best guess in no particular order:

English Oceans

New Cooley song

Pauline
Marry me
Southern Thing
What it Means
Opening Act
WWW

What it Means

Two new Cooley songs each night? I'm guessing one was Ramon Casiano. Was the other one Flight 218 to Denver? Or does he have yet more new material up his sleeve?

This is another new one. I'm not sure the name of it. They are starting working on the record this week so there's quite a bit of new material.

Awesome. I saw something about this on FB over the weekend, so I'm glad to see this confirmation. If they can finish recording by the end of the year, I guess that would mean a release date in the late spring or summer, right? Based on how political the new songs seem to be, I'd bet they're shooting for an election season release. Definitely something to look forward to.

The doubling of what it means was a typo.
