^^boyyourself, you speak the truth. I believe I owe you a Jameson or three.

If anyone has suggestions for a Scoot Inn pregame spot for Thursday afternoon, I'm all ears. Post-game The White Horse (and those bomb tacos) seems walkable.

I was at White Horse once for a post game. Really good time, though I don't remember much about it. See y'all in ATX.

Can't wait to see all of you!
Looks like Mike and the Moonpies are having a CD release party at the Whitehorse on 10/15, but for the life of me I can't figure out the time. This was on the Whitehorse website:
Thursday, October 15

Mike & the Moonpies CD release 12-$5

So does that mean noon? 12 AM?
Wondering if we might have a double-dip situation with music that day.

Kind of a short set, did they go on late?

Great show! Over the moon to hear Company I Keep & ecstatic for the long awaited return of PWD to close. It was fun that they skipped the break & played straight through. It was an outdoor venue & an early start. It didn't feel short at all to me.

I was on a business trip in Austin... randomly looked up local shows Thursday night... HOLY SHIT, DBT in town. Finished up with client business and got to the venue 4 songs in...

I'm guessing the set was a bit shorter because it was a (great) outdoor venue in a residential area. They finished right at 10:00. Guessing it was a rule.

Best wishes to Brent, with whatever he's dealing with...

Yep. The Scoot Inn has a 10pm outside sound curfew. But it was a hell of a show. They skipped the encore and played straight through. Last cord was strummed at 9:59:59. DBTs nailed it.
Love each other, Motherfuckers!
