I know! I am taking my father to his first DBT show. I hope people are respectful in our section and sit so that he can see.

MPP is really laid back. You should have no problem. We never sit for DMB, so it's either pit or seats on the side sections.

I'm hoping to be there by 6 and I'm planning to park in the lot closest to the entrance, right off Route 29 (but that's not always possible). If there's another tailgating scene elsewhere please post your location and we will come find you. Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!

Sitting in my office waiting for the show blasting some DBT at on my headphones. I'm psyched to take my dad, who has introduced me to so much music to his first DBT show.

I'm hoping to get there by 5:30. I usually come in off Broken Land Pkwy. Let's make sure we park in the same lot. Do you have GA tix?

I have pavs, but my friends have GA so I'll be going back and forth. I'll come in on Broken Land and park in the first available lot since that's where you are setting up. I have procured an array of fine beverages for tailgating; I'll bring them your way :D

Incredulously, there was a Shakes fan on the rail that remained stoic through that short but raucous facemelt.

DBT was great. So was the Shakes.

DBT should have been the headliner. Shakes have a ton of talent but it all starts to sound the same to me. I could have listened to DBT all night. I think I made my father a fan,

Man, they're just getting warmed up after 58 minutes. Hope they're making some new fans at these shows.

Exactly. At Red Rocks, Shakes were good, but after an hour it was all white noise. Sounded like the same song. People were leaving in the highest number I have ever seen for an opening band, yet I have never read anywhere anything but high praise for that show. DBT was a friggen firecracker that night.

We were lucky enough to see 3 shows in a row on this run, this night and the nights before and after. DBT was outstanding as always, they never disappoint. I think this night was my favorite if I had to choose. They were really on fire that night.

What it Means is my new favorite DBT song. It has impressed me since the first time I saw a video of Patterson alone with his acoustic. We saw the full band do this on the recent Dirt Underneath tour and it was even better. Then we saw them play it with the full band plugged in, and just wow. The lyrics are just fantastic. Patterson really hits the nail on the head from start to finish. And the plugged in version is a show stopper, and that version also has the acoustics, but it works so well. If the record industry made any kind of sense, which I know full well it doesn't, this should be a number 1 hit.
