Most interesting. I love the fact that this is a thoughtful, knowledgeable review that gives the band the credit it deserves and that's really the bottom line. Yet, while equally positive, my reactions to the shows were almost diametrically opposed on the overall feel of the 2 shows . I thought Saturday was a lot more "ferocious" than Friday (though I would have said intense rather than ferocious). I wouldn't have described either show as an 'introspective comedown," least of all Saturday nite. I was also confused/surprised to some extent by the "reversal" of Angels & Fuselage and Shut Up and I appreciate that he made a good attempt at an explanation, though I'm not sure it's convincing.Clams wrote:Pretty excellent review of the two shows here:
