Any of Wily Vlautin's projects - Richmond Fontaine, The Delines, solo, etc

I wouldn't mind hearing Zoe Muth singing harmony for him either. (Pretty sure she's from Seattle).

Sleater-Kinney
Built to Spill (does Boise count ?)
Stephen Malkmus
Pearl Jam

Likely ? Absolutely not.

But that would be some cool shit with any of these groups.

I would try and hookup with Candlebox, too, but that's just me.
I can't dance a lick but sometimes I can flat rock and roll

No, no. Let me do that. If Patterson did that, he'd fuck up his marriage. ;-)

But say he needs to get with Fred and Toody Cole. Here's Fred's first big hit:

I just love this song. I'd give a pretty penny for that picture sleeve. (I've got the album.) And they're still at it, fifty years down the road, long after it makes any sense whatsoever. The latest band is Pierced Arrows. I hear Fred's health isn't great just now, but still.

And look what Yootoob popped up for me next. I used to play this one in a band. What a great song!

The sooner we put those assholes in the grave&piss on the dirt above it, the better off we'll be

It's already happened ("Roswell" [aka "Southerner"] from Buck's last solo album and Todos Santos) but I'd love to see them collaborate further.

The Decemberists. There's already a Kelly Hogan connection happening there.

Didn't Buck play a few tunes with DBT a couple of years ago around the time of the baseball album?

Buck (and Mills) are in a band called The Baseball Project which may be what you're thinking of, I believe that have something like 3 or 4 albums at this point. I know Buck and Patterson have done "Roswell" live together but without doing the legwork, I forget the show. There's also this, I believe Buck sat in on at least a couple songs that night.
