Seven days, seven more days she’ll be comin’
I’ll be waiting at the station for her to arrive
Seven more days, all I gotta do is survive. She been gone ever since I been a child
Ever since I seen her smile, I ain’t forgotten her eyes.
She had a face that could outshine the sun in the skies.

I been good, I been good while I been waitin’
Maybe guilty of hesitatin’, I just been holdin’ on
Seven more days, all that’ll be gone.

There’s kissing in the valley,
Thieving in the alley,
Fighting every inch of the way.
Trying to be tender
With somebody I remember
In a night that’s always brighter’n the day.

Seven days, seven more days that are connected
Just like I expected, she’ll be comin’ on forth,
My beautiful comrade from the north.

There’s kissing in the valley,
Thieving in the alley,
Fighting every inch of the way.
Trying to be tender
With somebody I remember
In a night that’s always brighter’n the day.

Great vids. Looks like DBT & Richmond have got some mutual admiration.
I might do a costume. What (who) should I be?
Where is everybody meeting up?
Plans have to be made.

I got my ticket for Saturday. Can't make it on Friday, but one show out of two is better than not seeing DBT until New Years.

Last time I was in Richmond (8/09) they were putting the finishing touches on the new sports bar in the Marriot. Should be open by now and would be quite convenient

From what I'm hearing, Chilean miners are going to be big this year. Perhaps an Appalachian miner would be more suitable to the place and band, though.

That's just a stumble down the hallway to my home away from home. Sweet!

Now that's a thought. Nah, too mainstream, too last month. I swear if I could just find that funny hat; I'd be that Alabama icon, Bear Bryant. I might have to make one.

A few years back, my friend's wife was wearing a Bear Bryant hat at a DBT show (specifically the Atl TDU) and we were right up against the stage; during Buttholeville, Patterson picked the hat up (it was lying on the stage) and put it on, even going as far as changing the lyric to "Buy a brand new hat like Bear Bryant"

The Marriott is too rich for my blood. Any recommendations on other accommodations close to the National?

You can easily take the shoe leather express from The National to the Marriot and that's gonna be hard to beat if you are stumblin'. This hotel is also brand new and close but most likely just as expensive:

Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown
501 East Broad Street
Richmond, VA 23219
(804) 344-4300

For driving or taking a cab this place does not seem to be bad and I know I've recommended it to lots of bands. I just would not walk it.

Comfort Inn Conference Center Midtown (VA258)

3200 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA, US, 23230

* Phone: (804) 359-4061
* Fax: (804) 359-3189

Won't be there Friday, but Saturday is a go for me and my son. We will try and make the in-store and the Wes Freed exhibit. Where are the pre-gig meet-ups going to be?

Been off the 3DD too damn long - I'm letting life get in the way :)

Sorry if all this info is in the thread, but can someone let me (and others) know:

1) Where are the 3DD-ers gathering before the show SAT night?
2) Dinner and drinks, or just drinks?
2) What time?
3) You guys wearing costumes?
4) Anything else worth mentioning?

Thanks!
