Surprised no one mentioned the message to Craig L on the cover art. check out the grill of the car.

I was there for all three nights and can not wait for this. sound was about perfect for most of the run and the little sample shows that in spades.

$14.99 is a fantastic price for the deluxe digital download. Very stoked to see that pricing.

Over $7 shipping and you have to pay tax as well. And you'll get it 3 months after release date. Take a deep breath, and wait for it to show up on amazon, or your local store.

I would also say that $15.98 for the 3-CD set is quite a steal! I hope that price wasn't a misprint
Yes that's a great deal.

As far as preordering goes, Amazon is the way to go - although not sure if they sell the vinyl.

It's the same art from this year's Homecoming poster/tshirt. I'm slightly disappointed (but not really) that the artwork for this boxset is basically recycled. It's great art, but I love Freed's work and would have loved something brand new.

On a slightly different note...the $59.98 price for the deluxe 5LP vinyl is a freakin' steal especially considering all this "INCLUDES: 5 LPs + 3 CDs + 4 mini concert posters by Wes Freed + 16-page LP-sized booklet with liner notes by Patterson Hood". Most 5LP boxsets released this days are almost always $100+.

I'd be shocked if they don't carry all the various versions of this release.

Yep
Am I right that the deluxe package includes the vinyl and cd sets? If so, is there a reason besides collecting to order the cd set separately?

I think I'll wait until the day it comes out, buy it off Amazon, and listen to it a month before the rest of you as you wait for your vinyl to arrive.

I think I'll wait until it leaks, spend way too much time talking/obsessing about it with everyone here, then buy a bunch of copies to give as gifts. :D

I'll buy it from my local record store or retail outlet just as I always have. I did the pre-order thing once, never again.

I did this too. And now I see all these comments about past experiences.

Speaking of pre-ordering stuff on Amazon in posts above, has anyone else noticed that Amazon regular orders (non-Prime) take longer to deliver than they used to? Since they've started pushing Prime so hard, I've noticed that my shipments take about a week longer to arrive than what used to be normal. I'm assuming it's not a coincidence.

Back on topic, I love the setlist and should apparently be prepared for a late delivery.

My Jason Isbell Amazon preorder arrived on July 21 so that was 4 days after street date with free shipping (paired it with other items). That is fine with me.
I'll be preordering the deluxe box on Amazon.

I also paired Isbell's latest that I pre-ordered with other items and got it yesterday (the 27th). That generally isn't too bad a time frame, but I'd gotten used to getting stuff about a week sooner (about the time your Isbell reached you) than my last four or five orders with Amazon have arrived.

I am pretty sure I see myself--go straight out from Cooley and (*I think*) that's me at the right edge of the photo. Then again, it could be Bovine Knievel, hard to tell

LeBRod is standing out big time upfront, right there along with Bill, Cooley Girl, Uncle Rickey
