Any word on openers for this leg?
Re: Fall Tour Dates!
I could easily see Uncle Keith and I being in for the NOLA date. Wonder how I can find out if this is a TDU or a rawk show thing.

Re: Fall Tour Dates!
In my experience, DBT typically indicates on their site if it's TDU. So if TDU is not mentioned on their site, it's probably a rawk show. Hope that helps.drjayhow wrote:I could easily see Uncle Keith and I being in for the NOLA date. Wonder how I can find out if this is a TDU or a rawk show thing.

If jonicont says it's a rock show, then it's a rock show. Plus bill is right, too.drjayhow wrote:I could easily see Uncle Keith and I being in for the NOLA date. Wonder how I can find out if this is a TDU or a rawk show thing.

Yikes!! I overlooked jonicont post... That being settled..... This is shaping up to be a good NOLA date. Saints game Thursday, fart around Friday, DBT Saturday.
Never been to the Joy Theater. Been to all kinds of shows at the Saenger and State Palace theater back in the day. They all kind of bunched up there together.
Yay me

Saw both T Hardy Morris and Blank Range at Sloss Fest this weekend. Loved T Hardy Morris, was 'meh' about Blank Range. Seemed like pretty standard stuff to me.Eyes Above It wrote:Noticed today that they have T. I've heard great things. Of course i love the Vic, I know you don't. My reasons are mostly sentimental though. I've literally seen hundreds of shows there including 9 DBT shows I think. Still for Chicago folks that don't mind traveling to the South side Thalia Hall sounds like it's a great venue. I miss Midwest shows. Have fun at the Majestic.beergut wrote:Thalia Hall looks MUCH better than the Vic too!!
I'm pretty sure we're in for the 11/21 show in Nashville.

Re: Fall Tour Dates! (Now thru November)
Lots of shows this fall in the midwest. Great news for us in the middle! Plan to hit the Pageant show as usual. PH said it was one of his favorites and we have not missed one for the last 6 years. Great to see them at the Castle in Bloomington, IL. Awesome venue with a great lineup of shows. Will also see Jason there in October for the 4th time. First saw him there in 2012 and there was probably 150 people at $15 a pop. Sold out in two days for $40 this time. I have lobbied recently for DBT at this venue so it is great they got the gig.

No love for New York…yet. I've got my fingers crossed for a NYC rock show around the live album release date, and figure that it won't be announced until after the September Forest Hills date with the Shakes.

Really, we're skipping Minneapolis? They're going to make me drive all the way to Madison on a Sunday night - during hunting season no less! - I can't say that this makes me exceedingly happy. hahauncle rickey wrote:Newly announced! Presale tomorrow!
