Tickets seem to be going pretty fast for the Patterson show in Denver. Got a couple of tickets up in the third row.

I agree, Denver tickets going quick. I went on at 10 am Thursday when I thought they went on sale and it seemed like half of the tickets were already gone. I was able to get a table in the 100's though.

From Augusta last night - my first outdoor show

I suck at set lists but I think I've got the opener and last two songs correct - everything else is out of order and it's entirely possible I missed one or two so hopefully someone will chime in and improve it:

SSC
Pauline Hawkins (a Pauline Hawkins introduced herself to Patterson in NC)
WWW
Sounds Better in a Song
Lookout Mountain
Righteous Path - to Jimmy Carter
Marry Me
Made Up English Oceans
First Air of Autumn
My Sweet Annette
Where the Devil Don't Stay
Goode's Field Road
Sinkhole
World of Hurt
Love Like This
Daddy Needs to Drink - to Mrs. Hood back home in Portland
Ghost to Most
Shut Up and Get on the Plane
Grand Canyon

We had the choice of having them leave the stage and return for an encore or keep on playing and work in another song - it was an easy choice.

Hardy's set was fantastic. DBT was exemplary, all heart. One show was just enough to piss me off since I won't get another one this fall. The box set will certainly help!

At the risk of gushing too much during my post-concert bliss, do yourself a favor and make the effort to get to a show if at all possible (tell your fellow music lovers as well). They work their asses off (crew included) and it shows. The sound quality and performance is consistently outstanding.

About the gear - please refer me to another thread if this has been discussed in more detail - Patterson had an acoustic Gene Autry and Cooley had a Fender (I think) with a cutout - both were new to me. God I love to hear/watch them play.

It was AWESOME to have the Truckers in my hometown last night!!!!! As my husband joked, it was certainly our shortest trip ever to see a Trucker show!!! It was literally a four minute drive from our house. I thought the band played an awesome show. I was disappointed that there weren't more people there!!!! We got there right as the Truckers started and were easily able to snag a seat on the fourth row right in front of the band. I felt the crowd was a little....subdued, for lack of a better word. Could have been the setting also...this was my first time seeing them in an ampitheater type setting. In any event, we loved it!!!! Thank you to the band for putting on a great show even if the crowd wasn't as responsive to you as the show you were giving deserved!!!

Here is what I had for the set list. Pretty close to LitDimly but I think I have them in order:

Shit Shots
Sounds better in the song
My Sweet Annette
Marry Me
Lookout Mountain
First Air of Autumn
Daddy needs a drink
WWW
Pauline Hawkins
English Oceans
Righteous Path
Ghost to most
Goode's Field Road
Where the devil don't stay
Sinkhole
Love like this
World of Hurt
Shut Up and Get on the Plane
Grand Canyon

It was my first show since Asheville a while back so I was SO happy to be there!! Will have to talk the husband into some more shows soon!! (Maybe I can talk him into Homecoming!!). We are going to see Jason Isbell in Nashville for my bday present.
GOT TO LOVE A ROCK SHOW!!!!
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

It was 17 songs. Marty missed a few while tracking. Short because of strict 10 pm curfew.

I recently moved from Virginia to the Memphis area. Although I was lamenting having to miss the frequent DBT shows in Richmond and Charlottesville, I am going to see the band in Memphis in a few weeks, then my father-in-law and I are driving up to St. Louis to catch night number two of rock!

Here's what I don't understand about curfews....why not just start earlier? If a venue has a hard early curfew than the venue should start the show earlier. I guess it's not a big deal, but if I traveled for a show (like most of us do) I'd be a little disappointed in a show that's short simply because of a curfew. Festival sets are one thing, but headlining DBT sets should never be 15-17 songs because of a curfew. Of course, your mileage may vary and it's just my opinion etc, etc.

they were supposed to start at 8 but started at 8:20 instead.

edit: seems venue pushed start time back a few minutes to make sure everyone was in and let them play a few extra minutes even.

anyway it was a great show and I'm in no way pissed about the shorter set. I knew people would ask so I made note of it ;)

Great Rock Show in Pensacola last night. The boys were in a great mood after a day off. Patterson was sporting a fresh haircut. The crowd was small and the band was loud.

10/13/15
Pensacola, FL
Vinyl Music Hall

Where the devil don't stay
Dead drunk and naked
Guitar Man upstairs
Ronnie and Neil
First air of Autumn
What it means
Birthday boy
Girls who smoke
Marry me
Sink hole
Uncle Frank
Goode's Field Road (with story)
Shit shots count
Ain't talking bout love
Sounds better in the song
World of hurt
Shut up and get on the plane
Hello no I ain't happy

Encore:
Made up English oceans
The righteous path
Zip City
Grand Canyon

That is a fantastic setlist. If Cooley would have broken out One of These Days I would call it damn near perfect!

Got to be honest, I was hoping they'd retired the "English Oceans" backdrop by now.
Never my favorite image / album cover in the first place.
The "It's Great To Be Alive" imagery would look nice hanging behind them...

No, and I don't. What Patterson said from stage at the Little Rock show, the last one Brent Best was scheduled to play, was that the doctors were doing a lot of testing but hadn't figured out what was going on.

Why would that be a shit move on your part? Have an early dinner with them and then go to the show. Unless you're leaving out some details, it sounds kinda simple and easy to me.
HAvent been down to see them in two years, and will only be there two and a half days. Don't want to abandon them for a show
what time do they usually go to bed?

Looks like the Denver show is sold out now. I didn't even see it posted for a few days, at which point everything close was already gone. Still got two seats at 342. Looking forward to it, especially since DBT got rained out in Edwards this fall.

I can't really complain as the band plays CO multiple times every year but Denver got the 1 Fillmore show in 2014 and 1-2 (?) Ogden shows in 2012.. that's a total of 2-3 shows in four years. 2016- It's time to bring the band back to the Mile High City! Boulder isn't far but a 45 min ride home after a Rock Show isn't ideal.

I agree that the drive back from Boulder is not ideal but for the Dirt Underneath show we were able to get an Uber back to Denver for 23 bucks, not too bad.

I'd kill for a 45 minute ride home after a concert, closest DBT has ever played to me is 1.5-2 hours.
