setlist database

Post by artood2 »

http://www.oneofthesedays.org/ was this a truckers only setlist database?
if so does anyone have the complete data set of records available? does the person responsible for the site post here or does anyone have contact with this person?
its a crying shame that such a resource is no longer available...

Check this thread. No offense whatsoever meant to Tyler, who has put a ton of work into his site but I would love to see the return of OneOfTheseDays.org. Unfortunately, that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

It's a real shame "One of These Days" shut down. I counted on it for my setlist info!!!
You would think SOMEBODY in the "Mods" could get it going again. Wtf?
It's not like the dorks in the front row (who travel to EVERY show) have anything better to do than write it down and pass it on.
If "they" (the Mods) have the time to edit random people's comments, "They" should be able to get another link on the page, right?
Or.....I could just do it myself/forget the whole thing. The latter is more likely.

Under "Categories" on the main page (not the forum), Patterson Hood's name is misspelled and several of the links are broken. Not sure if making suggestions does any good. Last time I did, I was told by one of the Mods to start my own site. Also important to remember that I was once banned for 24 hours for "inappropriate behavior". I can appreciate the irony if not the hypocrisy.

oneofthesedays.org seems to be back.

This may be old news to some, but news to me. Just checked it for the first time in a long time.

Improved interface over the old version. Great to have it back!

Nice job Alec! Thanks!

Yeah baby! I was lost when this went down a while back. Left a huge void in my quest to have geeky setlist knowledge of bands I am into. Good to see it back! Thank you to whomever is responsible.

Alec (database and site owner) decided to update and refurb the site after he was contacted for the fan/Homecoming book and reminded how appreciative we all were of the old site. Enjoy!

This is fantastic!
Thanks so much for getting this back online.
It's fun to look back at some of the shows and remember (or try to anyway) how much fun each show was.
Much appreciated.

Turned out I was off by a year as to when my first show was! I was so glad to find out--and to be reminded it started with Zip City and ended with Angels and Fuselage. I wasn't likely to forget that, but it was still pretty great to see on screen!
