I've never been to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater but have been to the Wharf in Orange Beach. There isn't really a bad seat in the house and parking is super easy.

Last time I was at that amphitheater in Tusktown I almost had to fight my way out as the people around us didn't want to stand
during the Shakes, They were old and saving their energy for NY.
If it weren't for dreamland all my experiences with that town would be bad.
and the rest as they say is uh er uh, well somebodies history somewhere?

Tuscaloosa Setlist: Clouds Spat Rain----

Lookout Mtn
Ghost to Most
Goode's Field Road
Shit Shots Count

---the end---

DBT show got cut short because of lightning in the area. They evacuated the place after Shit Shots Count. I hung out outside the bathrooms for a while with a bunch of folks. As soon as most everybody was out of the amphitheater, the light rain quit and the lightning quit for a while. Then there was more lightning and they started tearing down DBT's gear. At that point, I figured it wasn't worth staying to try to see if Alabama Shakes would get to take the stage. It's 10 pm and I'm home already. (And now I see online that they let the Shakes go on after all.)

I guess if I'm gonna drive more than an hour one way to buy a t shirt and see a band play four songs, I'd want that band to be DBT. Still sucks with the great start they had going. They hit their stride in Goode's Field Road and the setlist was promising to be damn good. I was at the gate before the show during soundcheck and heard Opening Act, so I guess I can say I was there for five songs.

It was the first time I've seen DBT that I wasn't right on the stage. It was interesting being able to hear both Cooley and Jay and the same time.

I had my ticket, but it got canceled......
